.\\ S I T E . R U L E S //. .\\ R O L E . P L A Y . R U L E S //. - Activity - Activity is expected. Please get online at least every three days, if not everyday. If you are going to be absent for a period of time, let the staff members know. This will ensure that your cats are not deleted or put up for adoption. ... - Profanity - Do not use profanity on this site. There are younger members on this site. This site should be a safe environment for everyone to role play. ... - Have your Own Account - You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. The words "My little sister did it!" will not allow you to get away with anything. Wetpaint accounts are free and easy to create. ... - No Multiple Account - Do not use multiple accounts on this site. We have methods of finding out if you are using more than one account. ... - No Advertising - Other Warrior Cats sites are not allowed to be advertised on this site at all. Sites that are not Warriors sites may be advertised. You may advertise only if you are an active member, you have at least one character, and you must have been a member of this site for at least a month. If that description describes you then you may advertise on your profile or on the Advertisements page. You may never send a message to members on the site to advertise. ... - Stealing from the Site - Do not steal anything from this site! If you steal anything that has been written (this includes what is on the home page, the rules, the Create-A-Cat page, the idea of the Staff Clan, special plots that are unique to this site, etc... basically the things that belong to the site and not to Erin Hunter) you will be reported. Stealing any images that have been created for this site (such as the map, banner, images on the home page) is punishable by law. Thievery is not tolerated. - Character Limit - You may only have up to 5 characters in each Clan/area. The only exception to this is StarClan; you may have more than five characters in StarClan. If you realize you have more characters than you can manage, then ask a writer to put some of them in the Adoption Center or kill them off. ... - Role Play in Book Form - Role play in book form and in third person. (i.e. Owlflight looked up at the moon shining brightly in the sky. "How beautiful the moon is," she said. ) ... - Post Length - While role playing, posts must be at least 30 words minimum. We understand that some can't write 200 word posts each time, but please at least write 30. ... - No God Mode or Power Play - In other words, don't role play another person's characters. If you are battling, do not kill or seriously wound the other character without permission. ... - Realistic Battles - Don't make battles unrealistic. One cat has to lose sometime. ... - Mating Outside the Clan - Clan cats are not allowed to have mates outside of their own Clan unless you are giving permission to do so by Abyss or a site leader. ... - Homosexual Characters - On this site, homosexuality and bisexuality are allowed. Many animals in real life have been proven to be bisexual or homosexual. If you don't like it then ignore it or leave. No discrimination of any kind will be tolerated on this site. ... - Realistic Cats - Do not role play cats that have magical abilities or super powers, or cats that have abnormal fur or eye coloring. ... ϞϞϞ ... .\\ C H A R A C T E R . C R E A T I O N //. .\\ P R O M O T I O N S //. - Creating a Cat - Go to the page that is named "Create-A-Cat." Post the answers to the questions for the kind of cat you wish to create in a thread on that page. Character applications are not to be posted anywhere else but on this page. ... - Realistic Clan Names - Only use realistic names. If you know that you wouldn't find a name in the books, do not use it. Clan cats use names of things from nature; things that they have heard of. They would not have a name like 'Dragonfire' or 'Squidleg'. If it is a name you're unsure of then ask a staff member if it's okay and we will tell you if the name is acceptable. ... - The "Best" Cats - Do not use "the best in the Clan" in your cat's bio. Your cat can be good at something, but not everything. You can allow your character to gain the reputation of being one of the best through role playing. ... - Pretty or Handsome Cats - Please, do not say your cat is "pretty, beautiful, or handsome." If a staff member thinks your cat's picture is beautiful or handsome, then they will add it to your cat's description. ... - Create-A-Cat Threads - Please do not reply to a CAC thread unless you are at least a writer, unless you are helping a new member and you are absolutely certain you are being helpful and not giving false information. This is not a rule. This is just information about getting promoted on WC. If you are interested in getting promoted, here are some things you should and should not do. ... - Asking for a Promotion - Do not ask any staff member to be promoted. This usually delays your promotion. ... - Submitting a Writers Request - We frequently read the Writers Requests that we get, and we often promote people from the Writers Requests. Submitting a good request helps. Keep in mind that those requests expire, so it is important for you to continue to submit one. ... - Activity - If you are really active on the site, you will be noticed. People are recommended to be promoted and are actually promoted a lot because of their activity. ... - Amazing Role Playing - Being an amazing role player helps get you noticed. If you have a way of making a role play interesting without making it unrealistic, then you may have a promotion in your future. ... - Proper Grammar - Having proper grammar and spelling is one of the most an important things. Even if you make some mistakes, you will be more likely to be promoted if you misspell some words than if you use chat speak or text talk. ... ϞϞϞ ... .\\ T H E . S I L V E R . R U L E //. If you did not read these rules you will be held responsible for the knowledge. If you disobey the rules and need to be punished you cannot say "Oh I didn't know," because you are responsible for knowing the rules. For those of you who are not going to read the rules because "they are the same on every Warriors site," these rules are unique to this site. I did not use any other Warriors site as a reference and in fact, I have not even been a member of another Warriors site besides my own except for one, and I was only a member for roughly two weeks. If you have read these rules then please send a private message to a site leader that says "I am responsible for the knowledge of the rules and I will be sure to abide by them." The hidden message is that sentence. If you did not send a message to them saying this, they will know you did not read these rules and you will not be allowed to role play. ....
